A meal or food you really like.
One food that I quite like, maybe my favorite, is lasagna. The main reason I like this food so much is because of its taste. The lasagnaIt is one of the most famous and international dishes of Italian cuisine. Lasagna as we know it today did not become popular until well into the 17th century and was prepared with all kinds of roasted meats and leftovers. Which are added to the tomato sauce. You can prepare it with the filling that you like the most and, although the process is somewhat laborious, the oven does most of the work.
Its elaboration is as follows:
1. In a saucepan, heat three tablespoons of olive oil
and add the finely chopped carrot and onion. When the onion is well browned,
add the meat and let it brown as well.
2. Then we add the glass of wine and let it evaporate.
3. After this, add the cut tomatoes without seeds,
season to taste and let the sauce cook for half an hour.
4. While the Bolognese sauce is cooking, we can make
the béchamel sauce. In a pan, melt the butter and add the flour. Without
stopping stirring at no time, add hot milk until the sauce begins to boil. Add
the salt, reduce the heat and cook for about twenty minutes. You have to stir
so that lumps do not form. Season to taste.
5. Put the pasta sheets in boiling salted water and
when they are al dente, place them on a cloth (separate them so they don't
stick together).
6. And we come to the final part of the preparation,
assembling the lasagna. In a baking dish, spread the base with butter and cover
the base with a first layer of pasta. Add a layer of bolognese sauce, another
of béchamel sauce, sprinkle with grated cheese, put a little butter and another
layer of pasta. And so on until the ingredients are finished. You can top the
lasagna with a layer of meat, béchamel and cheese, or with sheets of pasta.
7. Put the lasagna in the oven and cook it at 180
degrees for half an hour.
Finally, it should be noted that, in terms of health
and nutrition, Lasagna provides us with protein, since it contains meat between
the pasta sheets. Proteins are very important to repair skin tissues, prevent
infections and diseases, make up the structure of DNA, help distribute oxygen
in the blood and feed the cells of our body.
I think lasagna is one of my favorite meals, although I prefer it stuffed with vegetables. I usually eat it when we celebrate someone's birthday at my house.
